2024-10-29 16:11:22 +0000 UTCI'm a little behind, but I can't help but wonder if the discussion of the "smallness" of the revolution in Heir to the Empire pt 1, might just be a good reflection of a post revolutionary state, that's only emerging from a conflict, where the various committees and institutions of power do not exist. It kinda reminded me of the French or even more so the US revolutions a bit, where the ruling cliché by the end of the war is fundamentally a fairly small group of players, and how many of the original revolutionaries go home, or move on to other things by the end of the conflict, before the new power is truly established.
