AMCA Plays: Star Wars: Outer Rim
Added 2022-06-30 15:40:07 +0000 UTCAs we noted on a few recent pieces of content, our June schedule was tossed into a blender, and that means taking a little between-seasons break in the main feed.
But the reason for that break was that Rob and Natalie were gonna be traveling to NYC for various reasons. And that means that we had an opportunity to do something that I've wanted to do for literally years now: Play Fantasy Flight Game's OUTER RIM.
So, with the help of Waypoint's Ricardo Contreras, and a familiar but undisclosed studio space, we present a fun, five hour bonus board game video.
Join us as we traverse the stars, collect some bounties, dodge the imperials, and try to make a living on the Outer Rim.
(And hey, keep this one between us. We only get to do things like this because of your support, and we want to keep this as a little bonus especially for y'all).

I know this is an old thread, but I was able to play a couple of games of Outer Rim at PaxUnplugged with the expansion. One really nice thing is that the new cards will flip up contacts, so bounty hunting is easier. I had the most success playing Chewbacca, his goal is to recruit two "orange" crew. (Orange crew are basically the unused player characters). So I was able to recruit Ketsu Onyo and Jyn Erso and we ended up bounty hunting in the Lancer. The show pitch idea was basically: "Chewie's Angels".
