i have to step in and defend my man Luke Skywalker here. He never wanted to be an imperial pilot! Luke seems to mostly want to be a pilot and avoid the draft, but hes not a bootlicker. It's more like the events of the film make him into a passionate rebel, where before it was just something he idly considered, but he was always adamantly against becoming an *imperial* pilot

As a Star Wars nerd who has watched too many convention panels over the years, I’d put money down on Dave’s blurred hoodie being NHL Penguins gear. Also, all of Filoni’s Plo Koon stuff is why we have the George Lucas quote, “Only a diseased mind thinks Plo Koon is the best character.” He is just making fun of Filoni.
