a duplicating stand can probably be tracked to hermes as she's had multiple crimes she's committed and the duplicates reconvening being the fact she's re-admitted to prison for her actions.

At face value it seems weak, but Araki is so incredibly clever at finding unique and interesting ways to use it in combat. Ermes is also one of my favorite characters to play in the Jojo fighting game!
