Jojo's Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind E3

OH THAT STAND IS SICKKK

Comments

- I was on a trip so, I wasn't able to watch any of the new episodes up until this point. I'm excited. 😁 - The way each Part implements the past characters and lore, is quite impressive. That's why I really like this show. 😁 - Now that we know for sure that they are going to work together, you're going to love Bucciarati. πŸ‘πŸΌπŸ˜ - There's no time wasted when you watch the JJBA openings or endings, in my opinion. It gives the viewer time to get into the Jojo mindset. πŸ˜† - Your presumption will soon be revealed. 😏 - So, the organization that runs and oversees every industry in Naples, is called Passione. - Polpo is a ginormous being. 😦 I have so many questions about him even though I've seen this a couple of times. - Man, the lighter test is giving me loads of questions as to how others passed it. πŸ€” If Giorno is having trouble with it, how does the average Joe get around to protecting the flame? - Major OOF. 🫒 Poor Giorno. Poor old man. 😟 That stand does indeed have an arrow. You know what that means. πŸ˜— Chaos. - Hahaha, the ending has become quite the meme for JJBA fans. πŸ˜… - Not everyone gains their stand by means of an arrow. Avdol, Polnareff, and Kakyoin and possibly Iggy were born with theirs. Some are born with a stand and others can acquire it if they are highly passionate about something (an example of that being Tonio the chef being passionate aboutaking healthy food). As for the Joestar bloodline, they acquired theirs because their ancestor's body aquired a stand. This lead to all the ones currently alive, gaining one. Joseph's, Holly's, Jotaro's, Josuke's, and Giorno's stands manifested when Dio acquired his. Of course, we know Holly couldn't handle having one. - Also, keep in mind that Enyaba had an arrow, at some point, which led to Dio getting his stand. I don't know where she got the arrow from though. πŸ€”

Stands can be inherited or gained naturally at birth, the arrows aren't the only way someone can gain a stand. This is why all the Joestars have stands, because DIO used the arrow on himself, but being in Jonathan's body, it sent a ripple (pun fully intended) effect to all of Jonathan's descendants. One of the key things that Araki focuses on and he's said before is one of the integral parts of why Jojo's is so intriguing is that Araki believes the scariest thing is a curse that lasts from generation to generation. The curse, in Jojo's, is the ability to use stands. Sure, it grants them great powers, but stand users draw other stand users to each other, so by DIO using the arrow on Jonathan's body, he effectively cursed the Joestar family line to lifetimes of fighting and danger.

Avdol Polnareff and Kakyoin were all born with stands.

if im not mistaken the ending was chosen because while Araki was writing Golden Wind, he would listen to Freakn You a lot lol

So there's three ways to get stands confirmed so far. 1.) You can be born with it. Avdol, Polnareff, Kakyoin. 2.) You get hit by the arrow. Literally, almost everyone in Morioh. 3.) Descendants of people who got hit by arrow. Joestar family. Okay, I lied. There's four... 4) You can develop one but it's rare. This is how the chef, Tonio got one. He loved cooking so much he got a cooking stand. Surprised it wasn't a cleaning stand lol

Reunion

Polnareff, Avdol and Kakyoin had Stands since childhood, based on what was said and shown in Part 3 Some people are indeed just born with them

This opening - Fighting Gold - is sung by Coda, who also sang Bloody Stream - the opening for Part 2, which is probably the most well known Jojo's opening

I really really love your commentary at the end of the episodes! A small (non-spoiler) clarification about something that came up (you don't have to read it ofc): Kakyoin directly said in Part 3 that he had his stand dince childhood/was born with it and it seems that it was the same for Polnareff, who already had his stand since he was a little kid. Then, some other's like Tonio the italian chef from part 4 said that he traveled the world and perfected his craft so far, that his dedication made him awaken to his stand. so others at least claim to have had them with no involvement from the arrows
