- Man, I have a bunch of episodes to catch up on. At least, I can binge watch them. 😁 - Oh my dear goodness, we have come to this episode. 😅 The hilarity will ensue quite quickly - Avdol! He should have kept sliding down, he would have been fine! 😅 Once he stopped, the plans fell apart and a whole party of people arrived. 😆 - Just when you thought anything was going to go right, things took a turn. I found it so hilarious when Joseph lost his composure and started to panic. 🤭 To add insult to injury, the infatuated, old lady smacking him with the umbrella was just too much for him. - Joseph's crying "HELP ME! OH MY GOD!" in agony and embarrassment was my Achilles heel. 🤣 - It's so funny how Avdol and Joseph are just laughing in a pit under the railroad tracks like they're still not stuck together like glue. 😅 - Sheesh, Mariah's face. 😬 - Avdol just has a 8 foot tall railroad track stuck to his back. 😁 - Haha, the xylophone is so perfect for the scenes as they accumulate things onto themselves. 😅 - Man! Joseph is one strong, old man! 😯 - The whole pickup truck. 🛻👀 - Crushed like two wrecking balls. - Aww, Polnareff and Iggy's friendship has grown. ☺️ - Wait until Stone Ocean for awesome female characters. 😌

Jolene looked awesome from what I remember! Yeah Alessi sucks XD I hated those episodes haha, but am looking forward to the next parts for sure!

2024-03-14 04:22:55 +0000 UTCAraki definitely has some trouble writing female characters, lol. He makes up for it by part 5 (only like 60 episodes later lol). Many of Jojo’s characters could never pass the Bechdel test. Also the next episodes of Alessi are very… disappointing to say the least. But on the bright side, from here on out is some of the best that jojo has to offer. These last few episodes afterwards are all hits with some absolutely mental enemy stands.

2024-03-13 06:30:26 +0000 UTCTo be fair, almost every villain in this part is obsessed with DIO, he's been established as being extremely charismatic, it's not just the women. The previous 3 female villains weren't sexualized, so maybe it was a thematic choice in Mariah's case (her powers being about "attraction", her literally leading Joseph and Avdol on for the entire episode as a battle tactic), maybe it's a bit dated, being written in the 80s, I don't know, but you're not alone in feeling weird about this one. The ending of this fight is one of my favorites in Stardust Crusaders, and maybe all of Jojo's, for how simple it is and how quickly it goes from "oh shit they're in a pinch" to complete and total victory. The next couple of episodes are a bit... sus? Not as bad as the orangutan episode in my opinion, but still, it's a bit controversial, I mean, the villain is clearly supposed to be a nonce. Thankfully, I can't remember any other controversial episodes after that one for the rest of the series, it's smooth sailing from there. And the remainder of this part is straight up iconic

2024-03-12 22:26:05 +0000 UTCThe thing about Joseph is he’s never seemed like he’s actually into women or ever wants to interact with them and does the wackest performatively heterosexuality whenever he has to interact with them, he was always travelling to get away from Suzie Q, but the vibes with him and Avdol were there all along, they’ve been travelling for years together
