My headcanon is that he got caught in his own trap and Raine was trying to get him down, like Mebh to Robyn in Wolfwalkers. That'd be funny, Red actually looks...kinda hunky as a werewolf. Not bad. It's nice to see Raine so concerned though, she knows all about how stressful it can be to go through transformations! At least he has someone to help him through.
