I remember another webcomic where the characters are all anthro animals and the main character is a skunk who doesn't appear to wear pants though other characters clearly do. I believe one episode years into the run shows her wearing pants for seemingly the first time ever, and her roommate comments on it. She replies that her usual pants aren't available (either dirty or worn out) so she had to wear these instead, and there's an exchange about how weird it would be if someone thought she had been naked from the waist down for years.

Totally clothing-optional, but a cute top is still perfect for humorous signage. They're probably disappointed at not being given a chance to mug for her camera so everybody could recognize them when it goes viral with a tag of "unspeakably cute".

While many residents do choose to adopt more modern attire, it is still not uncommon to find many Keidran wearing traditional dress... or undress. The result is a wide and colorful mish-mash as varied as the species that make up the city itself. On any given New Edinmire street, one is likely to find the latest in haut couture intermingled with traditional tribal costume worn since time forgotten, along with more than a fair bit of, to be frank... casual nudity. Such trends are not limited to the Keidran residents. While some may still consider it... avant garde, finding humans, and even the odd Basitin, who has decided to shed their inhibitions (and a good portion of their wardrobe) is becoming more common with each passing year! As a final note: While all of this may be novel, and a bit shocking, for new visitors to the city; it is still considered common courtesy not to stare. And if one cannot help themselves, at least try not to get caught!
