How it is made
Only natural light (no flash and/or reflective panel) that enters through the window behind the subject as if to gently lean on it. In this shot I wanted to play with the geometries of the environment, a sort of interweaving of perpendicular lines at 45 degrees, also definable as “the hard element” of the image. In the middle the subject, which with the softness and roundness of its shapes contrasts the play of hard lines and comes out as the fulcrum element of the photo.
Post-production
Post-production was very basic: development of digital negative (with Capture One), retouching of lights and shadows, contrasts and micro contrasts and a retouching to tonal values.
