I'd invite her from time to time and she'd kind of tentatively step on before deciding better. Once, after years of this, I got her to get real comfortable on my chest, and we just both sort of dozed off. It was beautiful. Then I woke up with the sudden realization that I couldn't breath, and you know how dogs are about sensing your distress. She jumped off and she's never even been willing to entertain the idea since then.
