Update from the road

Such a beautiful place, but kind of eerie. Every 500m to 1km there are 2-6 armed guards, armed to the teeth, patrolling each corner, and making sure this place is safe since the dreadful attacks 2 months ago.
Apart from that, it’s insanely beautiful. The poems written about Kashmir are true. Those explorers who came all those years ago, wrote about it, and popularised tourism here, popularised it for a very good reason.
Huge mountains, beautiful rivers, horses just roaming around freely on the mountain sides - it really is like heaven on earth. But unfortunately heaven on earth is a little bit volatile.
I am safe, continuing my journey to Leh Ladakh. Video should be done in about 1 week. Just started editing India’s most dangerous road last night. It was a fun journey full of surprises (even got a tour of a steel factory), but is the reason I had to backtrack and get my bike fixed up.
The shocks seem to have gone on the back, but we managed to find a fix for about £3 ($4-5).
New rim replaced, shocks fixed up - I’m all good to go.
Journey here will last another 3-5 days here in the mountains and then I’ll make it back to the south. I wish I could spend longer, but my visa is running out and I’ve also been invited to a birthday party, which could be quite cool to see.
Anyway, hope you’re all well! Sorry for the lack of videos and posts. It has kinda been nonstop, with no time to edit, no connection etc. I will have 2-4 videos from this trip once it’s all finished so be on the lookout. You’ll also get some exclusive content here in the main episodes, and deleted scenes.
