She suffered extensive external trauma from the blast, but survived long enough for Nora to locate her and Trace. She was able to fix the superficial damage, however, with the external trauma came internal hemorrhaging that Nora was incapable of fixing by herself because the tower’s detonation sapped most of her magic, ultimately preventing her from saving Laura’s life, and causing her the need to go to sleep.
