Doucette and Dulcinea

Nevertheless, a day in the forest was more pleasing than following her father around the castle. It was sure that some hard words would be taken when she returned to the castle, but words would not hurt. Her parents were also aware of how liked she had become around villagers when she made her stupid escapes and spent her time among them. King Michael was not too hard on her rebellious daughter because she listened to the same problems villagers would address with him and searched for solutions after she was back. He also made sure that one of the trusted swordmen would follow her.
This day Doucette was out with Sakarias. Initially, it was supposed to be Hadine who joined her, but she had escaped from her. At lunchtime, Hadine discovered Doucette and Dulcinea from a small keep where the blacksmith shop and herb garden are. Hadine was not pleased with her escape, but she was happy to see Sakarias with her. Also, Dulcinea was pleased that big sister dragged Sakarias to the keep. He has been away from his work for a week because they are preparing a boat for the trip. Dulcinea was happy to see Sakarias, but she was a little sad that the big sister had fun with him instead of her.
