The purpose of this piece was to give Joe a little bit of character development, in the sense that even though he's more confident and landing dates, he's still very desperate and saying yes to every moderately attractive guy that looks his way regardless of compatibility, whereas a more confident person would know this is not the last time this will happen and can afford to be more picky.
I've been playing a lot of Tomb Raider remastered lately and got to the Tibet levels thinking, "huh, snow leopards look really neat and are kind of underused, aren't they? I really want to draw one now" so I came up with a snow leopard that works at an ice cream parlor, which is a natural fit for a guy that really likes sex in cold environments where there's a risk of getting caught. I imagine he's a super sweet guy with a freaky side.
I didn't want to depict public sex as something inherently unappealing (it's fun and you're a cool guy if you're into it!), so I figured the cold temperature would be a funny way to make the source of Joe's discomfort more ambiguous.

Honestly makes me smile how Joe is making progress but there's still a few hiccups here and there. It makes it all so relatable and sweet🥰 (with a hint of spice thanks to hookup apps) Also, my goodness, they have a lot of pistachio flavors at this shop🤨
