January art haul

I did draw a lot in January though (again I do love drawing), I just need a break from cranking out a comic strip every week, so I figured I'd post everything I made throughout the month in full resolution here to make up for the news that I'll be extending the break for another month.
As you guys can see I've been experimenting a bit with line weight and new brushes, I don't get much of an opportunity to do so when I'm busy.
The time off has given me space to plan out the next set of BMZ strips, if all goes well I'll have a couple made ahead of time before March starts (part of what fucked me up the last couple months was not having a backlog and finishing the week's strip on the last minute, which I do NOT recommend), I'm sure you guys will enjoy them.
I've also been fleshing out and redesigning the pirate characters now that I have a more concrete idea of what I want to do with them.
I'm moving to a new apartment so February will be kind of hectic for me, I'll let you guys know as soon as I can whether I'll restart the schedule on March or not. Until then, hope 2023 started out well for you guys and if so let's hope it stays that way!

2023-02-01 05:21:36 +0000 UTCI am a sucker for some thick… lines. My favourite trick is to run the ‘thicken’ thing over the vector lines on the shadow side. If you do it right it keeps your expression but gives the impression of depth, it’s neat.

Which is a boast about how many world cups argentina won that gets spammed to "win" online arguments that the rest of latin america rightfully makes fun of us for overusing Sometimes I like to draw the most obnoxiously argie shit possible to annoy spanish speakers that happen to see my stuff
