June Update

A sneek peek of what I'm working on this month:

• 100 mm/65 Type 98 Turret keychain.

  Like the F. Sherman turret keychain this will be a printable keychain model of the turret found on Akizuki/Kitakaze/Harugumo. I've made small improvements, mostly topology related things over the Sherman turret so this one will have smoother model and more details (I put those rivets manually and I don't know if its even printable lol).

Hello all,

Wanted to give an update of what I'm up right now. I'm working on Druid How-To for my next upload but whenever I login and play the game I once again feeling like shit and dissatisfied no matter the outcome.

The game is currently, not healthy for me, tho I believe you already know that too.

Ohio Model Done!

Printable model assembled and will be ready for release on Cults3D tomorrow, once I'm done making the assembly guide.

Obviously the most detailed model by far given its scale but that actually works in my favor because now everything becomes easier to print. I've streamlined the assembly as well by combining more parts into one, so less glue and failed prints due to objects that were too small.

Model is 95% done at this point, still trying to figure out how to print the small AA guns, but while its going I've been printing the hull, here's the comparison with the Venezia model.

Many improvements over my prior model has been made such as hull details (armor plates), completely separate decks, and integrated the mast into the superstructure for convenience (at the cost of a rather thick mast which I think still looks ok)

This will be an even bigger model than Venezia measuring over 47cm long and had to be split into three pieces. Since it's bigger, I'm gonna put more effort on the details and refinement but I will do my best not to make it overly complicated like the Venezia.

This project has been running the background for the past weeks. Its for April Fools so I will be releasing it shortly, with a video of it aswell in montage form.

(FYI Surcouf is a Lesta exclusive ship, not from World of Warships)

Venezia Model is Done!

Took quite a while to get all things right (especially the small parts and even that isn't exactly perfect) but overall, very happy with how it turns out.

My biggest model by far, quite a bit heavier than my previous two model aswell, combined.

Working on the final video and final model for delivery. Please look forward to it!

Assembly Required!

This ship is quite colossal, in size and details. But I wanted to faithfully recreate the looks and most importantly, the colors. Got there close enough with my filament choices, especially the pizza bow which I'm particularly proud of.

Had to film the assembly and finalize the files. Almost there!

Venezia Video & Model Update

Hello fellow Patrons,

I wanna give an update on the Venezia project. The How-To video itself is done and now I'm currently working on the printable model. This is the biggest and the most complex model I'll be making, being roughly 20% bigger than the Fuso model, many small turrets, and of course I'll be making it printable in multiple colors. I will also be incorporating feedbacks from Fuso & Shimakaze model.

  Haven't done a cruiser model, and upon reading some suggestions, the Venezia looks to be a beautiful model to tackle. Both Fuso & Shimakaze model has given me enough inputs on further perfecting upcoming model, hence I'm confident this will be my best creation yet. Silly functional model I came up with for the past week. Yamato funnel shaped organizer that can hold pens, paperclips and phones in both orientation.

Fully printed like Fuso. Half the size, twice the detail!

Some of the features and improvement:

• Completely posable turret (rotation and elevation)

• Quintuple torpedo launcher with an actual cavity for the torpedoes

• Probably the most complex ship mast assembly that could be done in 1:625 scale.

• Separate deck so it can be printed in brown (deck color) without having to use multi material printer.

Next Project: Shimakaze

Working on the printable Shimakaze model right now. This one will be more challenging, its not only smaller, but many details (like the mast) with more complex geometry must be able to be printed as well. Additionally, I also want to model the torpedo launcher that can also hold the individual torpedoes.

Not sure how this will work out but I'll figure out the best way to make everything work within the constraints I've established for my 3D printed ships.

Fuso Model Release

Here is the completed printable model. I've also made the lower hull and the standee on a different plate so it can be printed separately with different colored filament.

Attached is the .3mf file containing all 3 plates, and 4 filament settings that I tuned myself.

• Minimum bed size is 250x250mm.

• The model is highly sensitive to print errors so make sure the printer and filament is tuned properly.

Almost there.

The Fuso kit progress is going well and I've made iterative improvements since the last update to get more details and more reliable print.

Once I'm satisfied with the result and have build the complete model with success I will share the model for Slava patrons along with the guide on printing it.

A New Venture...

I've always wanted to try 3D printing for years, and only now I had the confidence to dive into it. I invested on a BambuLab P1S and been only tinkering with it for like a day now, but I'm glad to say that its one of the most fun I've had in life, beats being salty over WoWS games by lightyears.
