People do die in this show, less we all forget Simon who is literally why 2 characters in this arc hated Jellal, but it is so rare and people do survive some crazy stuff. Buddy in the lava is a great example of that but I think they try to explain that as them mentioning something about the amulet he was wearing having a protective spell on it, I forget exactly what they say the ep it comes up (it was like 5 eps ago or something)

Always love waking up to more Fairy Tail, And ya Gray being taken out like that really hit hard. I also see you almost took a header on your treadmill, do be careful. Don't want to injure yourself or break anything, I fell riding my treadmill the other day. When I first got it setup, because being an idiot I had my water on a table behind me. Went to reach back and grab it, didn't go well, luckily I only skinned my left knee a little. Now I have a small folding table next to me so I don't do that again. That being said I do agree with GainingGamer, this intro is my favorite of all of them. I do hate spoilers I even close my eyes when I watch a new anime for openings. Only watching the opening at the last 2 episodes, but you are safe to watch this one now. Heck even if you wait till the season is over the just do a quick restart to see it would be good. Though I would go back a handful of episodes because I can't remember when they start the new intro.

Man Gray, his story was the most interesting of them all up to this point. The Deliora story, the connections to the Demons of the Books of Zeref, the fight with Ultear on Tenrou, man what a character. RIP.

I remember watching this episode with my best friend in middle school at a sleepover. The unholy SCREECH we both let out when Gray got blasted probably could have made someone go deaf.
