I feel like Ruff is thinking that the people who "complain" about pacing are like it's make or break for them but most feel the same way as he does. It's not gonna make them hate the show they just feel that it would be so much better without the pacing problems

2023-02-28 23:47:45 +0000 UTCI'm pretty sure the thing about the rulers of the world was like he was saying "dinosaurs once ruled the world" and the next line is like telling sanji to "know the capabilities of dinosaurs" in a sense like "you should be afraid cause look at what we can do". I don't think he was talking about actual rulers of the world or any secret info about dinosaurs, but that's just my interpretation

As for Sanji's awakening, I have a theory it was dorment until the raid suit awakened his Germa genes, you can see this started happening only after he used the raid suit a few times, and seems scary of using it again. I tried to start reading the manga from volumes 99,100 and 101 while back( only bought them because of the special cover), and it spoiled the anime experience for me, the pacing was so slow it seemed like they adapted less than a chapter per episode. For comparison that was like around October or earlier, and they caught up only on this year( of course the was the RED movie filler episodes) but still. Since then I decided to remain anime only, I feel happier this way(even with some major spoilers like Luffys , that are unavoidable)

2023-02-27 23:21:32 +0000 UTCSerious speculation since the mistranslation brought it up, Jimbei and Usopp are more likely to get Supreme King than Sanji. I guarantee Sanji never gets it as he is now for 2 reasons. But before that, Jimbei and Usopp need explaining. Usopp's lies come true and his development is long teased, and the animation gave Jimbei black lightning and intimidation in his fight. I'm mostly basing on my gut but Jimbei especially has a presence. As for Sanji, Haki literally means "ambition." Virtually every Supreme King so far was either a leader or strove to be like one, or be the BEST at something; a conqueror. Sanji does not meet that. Germa wanted that for him and he actively resists it. The day he can beat women is the day I change my mind, because Supreme Kings don't discriminate or hold back. And I am not biased against Sanji; he is my favorite character.
