2023-02-02 01:29:39 +0000 UTCI know I'm late but my assumption about the King of the Pirates title is that it was a media thing. The media sensationalized Roger's achievements by calling him that. I don't think King of the Pirates is really an official title (at least it wasn't before) like Hokage, which is what a lot of people who haven't watched One Piece compare Luffy wanting to become the King of the Pirates to. And to Luffy King of the Pirates is more of an ideal, like true freedom

I just feel like the government would have tried to kill him if he was a world noble instead of letting Roger keep him. Another reason I’m leaning towards Rocks is the fact that his last name is still a mystery (unless it’s been revealed and I just don’t know). Anyway it’s all just theory and he could then turn out to be from the moon😂

When Oden brought his kids to Roger’s ship for the first time, Roger and Reyleigh commented that ‘it’s been awhile since we held a baby’. Did they get shanks as a baby after the ‘God Valley Incident’? The Roger pirates existed by then so it’s possible right?

I understand the whys and that we wouldn’t have the Wano Arc without these events but he’s so STUPID! I’m I the only who felt this way? I also binged the last 100 episodes so maybe I was fatigued and that made me dislike what happens? I don’t know.
