Luffy Vs Katakuri is my favorite fight in anime. The themes are incredible and even though its too long in the anime the payoff is so fucking perfect. Luffy is fighting a stronger version of himself while being surrounded by mirrors.

It makes me happy you think carrot is an official straw hat. A lot of people say she isn't because Luffy never asked and she's too weak, but Luffy wants his friends on his ship and Carrot is a friend. Not to mention people seem to forget Luffy is all about freedom so if he likes you and you wanna be on his ship like Carrot does then in his mind she belongs there.

the reason for haki not working on kat is because his fruit is his fruit is a special paramecia, he has to move his body so that the punches go thru him, it doesnt happen automatically like a logia

Katakuri's trick for dealing with haki punches is actually possible to notice if you pay close attention, they did animate it even before Luffy realizes it! It's just never from a good angle until then
