This arc is really good though, the hype train builds up slowly as usual in OnePiece but its worth it.

Despite this arc being my least favorite in the series, I am actually gonna defend the "clash" with Mingo, because it just made Mingo look stronger. It just shifted a bit of the power to Mingo and didn't really take away from the clash.

My biggest problems with the Anime in general are the "clashes" that happen, it really undersells how powerful some attacks are. At least IMO. Edit: I should add that there are some in the manga, but there are fights without clashes that get added in to pad out the episodes a bit. Dont get me wrong its still awesome to see it animated.

I honestly don’t notice cause I’m used to tension being built and all that lol. And the manga wasn’t that much shorter at 100 chapters. Oda’s gotta lot to say with these arcs now. Yeah the anime added 20 more on but with it being animation and not panels they are able to make fights more amazing. More fleshed out so to say with all the dodging and extra hits and all that. If anything, it was always my solution that if you don’t wanna see something and get to the meat and cheese faster, you skip it 🤣. Each their own but I personally haven’t been having an issue with this arc save for what I just got through (I’m on 721 to give you an idea of where I am in my own watch.)

Yea, of course, the pacing is a lot more tolerable when you can just binge it, of course. But when you look at this arc right now, where Ruff currently is, you really gotta wonder how there are still 70-80 episodes left. Most of the actual meat of the arc happened in the first half. You could even fit all of Water 7 and Enies Lobby in these 80 episodes.. (And that's with the filler episodes included).

“You don’t mess with Sabo!” 🤣 This is why you don’t mess with any of the brothers. Especially if you decide to target one or 2 of the brothers. You mess with the other 2 the 3rd will get mad lol. Especially Luffy. You mess with Luffy it would be Ace and Sabo coming for your throat. Overprotective brothers to the rescue

I honestly didn’t have much problems with the episodes for Dressrosa save for the last couple I went through in my own watch. Were a little uninteresting for me so I’m glad I’m back into the vibing stuff. I guess that’s what you might be talking about but I’m with Ruff. Pacing isn’t an issue anymore when you can binge the arc now at your own pace. And if your still bitter about it from when it was weekly, I don’t know what to tell you lol

Man, I really want to tell him what the problems are with the arc, but it is such a spoiler, so I can't. In a way it is the pacing, but also not. (I am really only ever bringing this up because Ruff is bringing it up, if he stopped bringing it up, then I would stop too).

Don't forget that Sugar is not a child. She's in her 20's. She's also Monet's younger sister (a fact that is never stated in the anime).

Yeah, stuff like that and also them putting the arc names in the title of the seasons really annoy me about Crunchyroll and why I preferred Funimation. I'm hoping some stuff like that get changed with the merger.
