Rimuru can copy anything he takes in, that's for sure. but a lot of people seem to forget, he is running a country. If you've been watching closely, he's making sure that the country will be self sufficient even if he isn't there anymore to lead, he needs competent people under him to run it so he's letting them all learn. This anime is not about Isekai flex (although it is), it is focused more on world building that's why there are episodes where it's all just talking, planning, introduction, scheming and more. Some people dropped this anime because they get bored with the lack of action. Personally I like world building anime because it means the writer put thought into the story, not just punch punch punch.

or like some parts of japan. some parts are highly advanced with like bullet trains but then u got the small towns that are more traditional.

did ruff forget all of europe? litereally all of europe that wasent destroyed in ww1 and ww2 have really old buildibg with modern technologies added overtime, like a grocery store in a building from the 1800's is more than normal and its not like they dont have automatic doors

I saw in your recent archived stream (I was unfortunately working during the stream itself) that you held a poll over the Slime OAD episodes but it didn't get much activity. I don't know where this poll was (I didn't find it myself) but I think that you should do them. The first two episodes are slice-of-life and completely optional, but due to how weird they are I think that you would enjoy them due to how you said you liked that kind of thing. The other 3, however, are all parts of a story of Rimuru and his students shortly after he saved them in season 1 and before the start of season 2. In fact they made a reference to it in the very beginning of episode 25, so you should watch those 3 while the context is still retained. After episode 36 (season 2's 11th episode) or episode 37 (12th) would be the ideal time to do so, as the way the episodes end it won't disrupt the flow and would serve as a good time to "flashback" on that tale due to a certain thing that happens that connects them (you'll see what I mean when you get there.)
