I think so too because the world building is just good and the plot is average but I like the characters! My favorite is definitly Yami lol for the same reasons you like him! Because he reminds me of Zoro! I hope the author fleshees out the plot and world building more though :)

Also, we saw Captain Vengeance’s magic in like episode 3 or 4 during the magic knight entrance exams, and it’s definitely not light magic.
