i knoooww! It's crazy! It's been so long since i've watched this and i don't remember noticing backgrounds noises or any of this until now, the anime was already one of my favourites and now that i'm noticing these little details, it just makes me love it even more! I'm glad ruff isn't as oblivious to these as i first was xD

I can't believe you're doing this series biweekly. I understand your schedule is tight but goddamn, I don't know if I could watch this masterpiece with such long breaks. You forgot that Mau was supposed to be dead since last time it seems, and you also thought that Lelouch knew about his identity as the pilot of the Lancelot. Easy mistakes to make when you leave the show on the shelf for so long. Oh well, more reveals for you I guess :D

It's no surprise you thought Lelouch knew who Suzaku was since how the dialogue is formulated makes it seem like they're talking to each other during the battles. Plus there was the Narita battle with C.C. But one of the details often overlooked is that Suzaku told Lelouch he was repositioned to a science outfit so they he and Nunally wouldn't worry about him getting into battles... The Lancelot is a prototype for research purposes. Japanese aren't normally allowed to pilot knightmares after all. It never in a million years would've occurred to Lelouch that Suzaku was the pilot. A couple other details which aren't really elaborated more on in the anime is that Prince Clovis was a massive Patreon of the arts creating many museums and art programs available to Japanese and Brittanians. It's not known if he was like the official that quietly disqualified eleven's from winning but given his willingness to massacre Shinjuku out of fear of his father finding out about C.C. It's a fair bet he chose to uphold national policy rather than rock the boat. Clovis also specifically requested to become the Viceroy of area 11 so he could investigate what happened to his siblings. He sadly seemed to actually care about them even if they didn't get along. When Euphemia and Cornelia were talking about the area they were in looking like the Aries Villa, and they mentioned how Clovis designed it like that on purpose... The Aries Villa is where Lelouch's mother was killed.
