If you do continue this and react more, just note that episode 5 IS filler BUT that is only because its anime original. Episode 6 is mixed filler and canon as well. They definitely are worth watching. It adds on to the story well and are such good episodes. I've seen a couple reactors skip these episodes so I am just saying this so you don't.

I think the 360 makes it more enjoyable because it leaves the War Story and becomes a story about dealing with trauma and bettering society. It makes the characters better and fits the stories themes since the beginning.

I read the manga when it just started, but at some point late in the series, it make a complete 360 and I stopped enjoying it. So untill that point in the anime I'll at least be enjoying it.

Vinland Saga is incredible. It is one of the greatest stories out there. There have been hints of a second season but nothing confirmed yet. This is definitely a must watch and a must read!

the manga started in 2005 so its kosher for goat jap content and is a succesful enough manga to still be going till like 2026. glad you enjoyed ep 1 so much cause the first 4 eps are essentially just a prolouge. Defintely one of my favourite newer anime (2019). and yeah historical anime is a pretty big thing but its usually just japanese history

I believe that Vinland Saga and Demon Slayer came out in the same year and there are a lot of people that argue that Vinland should have been anime of the year that year! I really liked both and all in all would love to see you continue reacting to Vinland cause I think it’s one you would really enjoy and it’s just a flat out great show! As always loved the reaction and can’t wait for more!

I remember back when it came out and watched the last episode of season 1. I couldn't wait and read the manga. Normally I don't read manga because I can wait, but for me Vinland Saga was one of those animes where I needed to know what happens next. Such a great anime 10/10. I hope you consider watching this before season 2 comes out.

Vinland saga is one of the 4 greatest seinen manga along with berserk, vagabond and kingdom. Its the only one with 10/10 anime adaptation. starts off relatively slow compared to whats to come, but its phenomenal.
