I feel like it’s not crazy for Logan to assume that meant they were broken up. And he clearly did think they were broken up since that’s what he told his sister. So even if it seems like cheating to Rory (who is not saint when it comes to being party to actual cheating), it wasn’t cheating in my opinion. But it’s messy

And also, if you mean that...well, it felt like he was very keen on getting her back (and finally succeeded after talking to Lorelai), but wouldn't that be strange to do both, ie, send flowers and be desperate to win her back and at the same time, sleep around?

Joe, most people think Season 6 is so controversial because of the whole storyline where Rory drops out of college and she and Lorelai stop speaking for a while, but honestly, that season just keeps getting worse and worse until the very last episode. About Lorelai and Christopher, I always saw her decision to help him with Gigi as kind of a parallel to her situation with Luke. While Luke doesn’t want her around his daughter for now, Christopher is grateful for her help, and I think Lorelai feels welcomed and appreciated, which makes her feel better. That’s why she cares. I just can’t get on board with the whole “you’re a great guy” thing, though. Too far, Lorelai. As for Rory and Logan, this is definitely like the “we were on a break” thing—only difference is that Logan waited a few weeks before sleeping around, while Ross waited, like, an hour lol. Even so, I’m on Rory’s side with this one. Logan’s in the wrong, and even if he genuinely didn’t believe he was cheating or didn’t mean to hurt her, she still has every right to feel how she felt about it. But one thing I know for sure: whenever Honor shows up, disaster follows in this series. And Paris, she’s absolutely my favorite character in the entire show. I just can’t help loving Paris. And about Lane… no comment. I hate Zack, and this whole storyline is just beyond frustrating.

2024-11-14 19:37:12 +0000 UTC@Yasemin I'd agree if it hadn't been several weeks that they didn't talk and Rory didn't ignore Logan's attempts to get in touch during those weeks. You can't ghost your partner for a month or more after a big fight, and yet somehow expect them to know it's a break 😅
