Dub Vs sub is never a question. You know, in Russia they watch game of thrones dubbed. Can you imagine the horror? Why don’t we go further. For the people living in the southern US, all TV shows should be dubbed in a thick southern accent.

Honestly I’ve seen the dub for this show and it’s actually decent. I think the sub is better but the dub is not half bad if you wanna watch that on your own time

Also one main thing I switched to dub when I first watched was because the subs were going by fasssst and had a lot of text with important info, I felt like I was reading most of the time or going back to reread something that went by fast and usually I have no problem with subs, I could just understand it better in dub, I think a lot of people switched it because of that issue too

there are animes here and there that have good dubs, but generally its a good default to do sub just in case.

The japanese audio is not always better but the original audio is the original audio. Any translation is an interpretation of the original work and lesser for it as it's further away from the original vision. It's not that the original audio adds value, it's that altering the original work detracts from the original. See 4Kids One Piece for an especially bad example. It's like watching a dubbed Disney or Pixar movie where half the jokes don't survive the translation.

I really like the mc's dub for geass but a lot of it kind of sounds bad in my opinion so I would recommend the sub.

Often it is indeed the case that the Japanese audio is better, but there's no magical reason why the original audio should add value to the experience. It's simply an issue of whether or not the English voice actors sucked, which just happens to be a common problem. There are plenty of anime where the English version is as good, and even a few where the English was actually better. As for the series you're asking about, I haven't seen it so I can't comment on that, but I can suggest a general rule: Whenever possible, look for a dual audio version and simply watch a bit in both audio tracks. Each series should be evaluated on a case-by-case basis, and anybody who insists that the Japanese audio is 100% always better is being dogmatic and snooty.

I think both sub and dub for Code Geass are good

Always prefer the original language, I would do the same with books If I could read all those languages.

Both the sub and the dub are decent, so it might be a matter of preference. But for me personally, I usually prefer watching the subs unless the dub is unusually good compared to the sub (like fullmetal alchemist brotherhood for example). For this one I would recommend the sub.

Personally, both the sub and sob are fantastic. However, I choose the dub over the sub for a few reasons. But, in all truth, its up to you Ruff.

The dub for this is actually very good. Only 1 character I couldn't stand. If you prefer dub, this is a good one to do. This is one of the few series I prefer the dub myself.

I’ve seen this exact discussion pop up for multiple reactors and I’ve always seen the dub flocks being an extremely vocal minority that consistently get steamrolled in polls. I think the dub is fine, but the original vas are iconic

Spare yourself from watching the dub, just watch the sub. Some of the VAs in the dub are pretty good, but for the most part it's just not worth it. Sub>Dub easily.
