Congratulations on finishing the prologue for the Arc, the amount of information combined with the sheer length of the arc is why I recommended taking notes earlier on when you started the arc. As you continue through the arc, I would really say to write down a line or two about what the characters are doing after each episode because it will help you remember what is happening.

Also, the king has been named by the queen before she died. His name is Meruem but he doesn't know that since he wasn't with his mother when she died, only a few of the hunters and Colt know his real name.

The different reactions of the Royal Guards to Meruem asking about his name perfectly sums up their characters: Pouf says the king is the king and doesn't need any other name because he is what he's supposed to be and that's all that matters. He doesn't actually care about what Meruem is actually asking, or that having a name might matter to him, just that he shouldn't need one because his place is as the king. Youpi says it's beyond him, i.e. he doesn't know. He could swing either way - he doesn't know if the king needs a name, or if he should just choose one. He understands that the king is the king and doesn't need one, but also that this might be important to him, so he doesn't know how to respond. He's between the two guards and could potentially fall to either side. However, it's less that he's undecided and more that he doesn't yet know - he's immature, like a child who could grow up to lead different lives depending on different variables. Pitou responds with that Meruem's feelings are the most important and he should do what he wants. Pitou cares the most about Meruem as a person and his needs and feelings, not just the animalistic instinct that he should rule them. Pouf cares for the king, Pitou cares for Meruem, and Youpi hasn't fallen to either side yet. It's small but great character building.

Keep in mind that the king was born recently. Only a few days ago, and it was born as the highest point of its kind. At first, his only mission was the most primitive thing within him: to be the king. For what it was born. But due to his great intelligence, and after meeting Komugi, he begins to question things. Due to Komugi's constant defeats, he began to understand that strength cannot only be physical. When Komugi asks his name, the king enters an existence crisis and realizes that he does not know who he is. When he goes to kill Komugi, he tries to fool himself by thinking "I'm the strongest, I'm going to end this" but he can't. The king is beginning to develop as a living being. Is beautiful.
