The trilogy, aside from the first one- are too long with too much padding and fluff to make it as BIG as LOTR trilogy (by movie executive’s orders no doubt). Legolas is awesome, but he doesn’t belong in this story. They just made up Tauriel altogether… I like her, Evangeline Lily did a great job. But if anything she should have her own spin-off, and NOT be in a cheesy contrived love story with a dwarf 🙄 elves and dwarves are not supposed to get along, remember Gimli??? Never trust an elf!!! A lot of scenes Peter Jackson just seemed to plagiarize himself 🤨🤨🤨 all the music cues were the same for the member-berries 🍇 I’ll do you one better, JUST READ THE BOOK! It’s the only true version 😜
