I mean, Laboon was march 2001, the recap was june 2008 so that's over 7 years, most people probably needed the refresher. I started watching during Arlong Park but I remember when this hit, it was awesome.

After thriller bark you should watch Strong World, it would be perfect time for it. It's written by Oda and pretty much like an another little adventure arc.

Thrillerbark is commonly thought of as a least favourite arc I think, for a lot of people. It is for me at least, so I wouldn't be surprised if views weren't amazing on YT. It'll definitely pick up tho ;)

I love how in the Burning Blood video game, if you use Perona's Negative Hollow attack on Usopp he is unaffected by it and they do a big shot of Perona's shocked face. It was so hilarious the first time it happened in a fight between me and my friend.

If you think it's wild that we found Brooks almost 300 episodes after Laboon was mentioned, the zombie samurai that Brooks and Zoro are fighting is actually a character from a manga one-shot that Oda wrote in 1994, before One Piece even started.
