I know it’s easy to say this in hindsight but man when I first watched this series my impression of him changed at that moment when they saw ppl getting chomped by that strawberry turtle and didn’t bat an eyelid.

2021-04-17 13:10:10 +0000 UTCDawg Gon is the one with the messed up moral compass man. U gotta get away from appearances and watch the kids actions. Gon has shown so far to be a super selfish kid. I guess most 12 year olds are but man he takes it to insane levels. One quick way to think about it is Killua grew up an assassin and is used to people dying around him. Gon grew up on a scarcely populated island and shows no reaction to people dying around him at 12.

He feels like he couldn't have passed the hunter exam without Hisoka's mercy (when he gave him the tags back that he needed to pass the fourth phase). So his goal right now is to get strong enough to at least be able to punch Hisoka in the face, and give him back his tag.

You'll learn a lot more in the last few episodes of the arc, which ends at episode 36 I think. Don't worry if you don't understand everything though, it's the internet so someone will probably yell at you for it.

2020-12-15 04:05:01 +0000 UTCThe teacher is scared because of Gon and Killuas natural strength. If they go down the wrong path they could be incredibly threatening. These kids are 12 and impressionable so he has no way of knowing the people they will become.
