Please don't skip all of those filler episodes! A lot of filler lists are poorly put together and simply list episodes that are partially filler as full filler. 98 and 101 have canon material especially 101. That episode has extremely important information in it. At the very least watch 98 and 101. Also, I would recommend reacting to at least 131-135. While they are pure filler, I feel that they are the best filler in the entire show. They focus on the individual Straw Hats and actually has a lot of good characterization and world building involved that I feel you would enjoy and others would like seeing you react to.

The tattoos are explained farther down the road as well! I personally think that the fillers in this arc are not that bad! They don't even seem like fillers! You saw Ace at the end of Drum island. He was there chasing Blackbeard, the pirate who invaded Drum Kingdom, but since he missed him he also asked them to pass on a message to Luffy that he'd wait in Alabasta for 10 days. They weren't able to pass on the message but Luffy got lucky lol

While Ep 101 is listed as filler, it has a canon event, so please react to it. It's a weird and unique production choice but it is important.

In case you forgot some episode ago, Smoker caught Mr. 11 and picked up bits of Mr. 0 and Sanji's phone call. That's why he's in Alabasta. Also, Ace was in that Drum Kingdom flashback; he told someone a week ago to tell Luffy to meet him here.
