August 22nd, 2016 Update

Since this one has some Patreon-related update information along with a progress snapshot of Alty's commission, I'm making it public instead of limiting it to pledged Patrons. So, a couple changes that are probably coming down the pipe:

1. Removal of $10 tier/PSD option. Uploading finished PSDs, alongside high res and standard res pics, is becoming a bit of a pain. Especially since no one has pledged for the PSD tier yet. So at the end of the month I am removing the PSD option. If there is demand for it later, I may re-introduce it, but it doesn't seem like there is any interest in it at the moment.

2. We're almost at the point where I start doing a sketch raffle every month for you guys. So, first off, yay! And thank you. Things got off to a slow start, but this thing is starting to gain some steam. Thank you guys for pledging and sticking around. Now I need to figure out how the heck I'm gonna pull through for you. My initial thoughts are that I'll do one raffle for every ~$30 of pledges. If my Patreon takes off in a crazy manner, I may not be able to keep up with that ratio, but for where we are right now I think that's alright. That's only one half of the equation, though.

The other half is picking who gets a sketch. Now, I'll probably use Wheel Decide during one of my streams so everyone can be sure that it's all on the up-and-up, and it's all truly random. However, I'd like to see that those who pledge more get a little more bang for their buck. My proposal to you guys is that $1 patrons get one entry on the wheel, and $5 patrons get two entries on the wheel. And when we get into the realm of multiple sketches being raffled off each month, once you win one you're removed from the wheels for the rest of the month.

Let me know what you guys think about that system.

Edit: Another alternative, instead of a raffle we could do voting. On the minus side, it probably means I'm not drawing your guys' personal characters. No one ends up winning big with the sketch they specifically wanted. But if I could give you guys a slate of my characters + various fandom characters (furry characters from comics, video games, etc) to choose from, more people might end up seeing something they wanted to see vs a few people getting something more personalized. At least, a plurality of you guys would be getting something you wanted. Same idea as before, instead of 1 or 2 entries on the wheel, different pledge levels would get different 1 or 2 votes.

Personally I think the alternative is better. Just to completely avoid any form of gambling.

Sounds fair enough to me - random chance + higher pledge perks, no issue w/ that.
