Magion02 going full time on Patreon? Feedback and advise needed <3

Thanks, by the tier separation comment. I was happy that you have a tier that is mainly for the finished artwork, like tier 1. All the other tiers go onto step by step, tutorials and PSD files. Other Patreon have tiers where it's the final product and the step by step as their lowest tier and they separate it by getting 'rewards' twice a month and choose which one you want - I'm not a fan of that model. I like your current structure but I'd like you to be successful so, do what you must. I hope that's clear?

Yes, thank you so much Raz! I'm still sorting out the plans to improve the rewards and hopefully to add more tiers soon. I'll do my best to keep delivering :) I did add a last-minute addition to the Tatsumaki piece(Battle damage version) for this month's reward. I hope you like it because I'll be doing more like that in my upcoming rewards as Patreon exclusive. Btw, may I know what you mean I separate the tiers nicely? :) I need to know because wouldn't want to change something that is already good!

Forgot to add. I like to add the fact that you're one of very few who actually separate the tiers nicely. I'm not interested in the step by step or PSD. I do like wip and the full images end of the month. So if you keep something similar, even if prices change slightly I'll be happy. But obviously, you are catering to many and not just me.

I found out about you on Instagram. I'm not longer on their because it's algorithm is messed up. But definitely do exclusive where you won't lose out financially. So like many of the people commenting above have mentioned, just Patreon exclusive. Maybe also watermark your IG posts?

Thank you Pekka! :) I agree, but of course the higher the tier, the more exclusives they are going to get. Maybe I'll add more exclusive sketches! I'm thinking the same thing too about a commission tier! I'm glad you brought it up!

Thank you so much Ravi &lt;3 You know what, I truly agree with you. What do you think of the postcard club I mentioned in Ingo's comment? That will definitely add exclusiveness where no one else can get even if they wait haha :) but other than the physical reward, as for existing tier, maybe I'll add like a more detailed behind the scene or some tips and tricks on how to paint/draw. I will have to post the complete artwork on social media to gain more awareness but at the same time I need to add more exclusive content for Patreons like you said. Maybe a bonus version only Patreons can see. For example like, special alternate costume version as how they do for NSFW version (I'm trying not to go to NSFW path tho XD ). What do you think? So much to think about! Hmmmm.

Thank you for the suggestions Skyler! I will definitely consider adding some tutorials but not too much focus on the NSFW at the moment haha. I'll make it as a goal for now or something to think about :P

Congratulations and good luck :) I think the biggest incentive you can give is to make exclusive illustrations for patrons, which you won't share with the public; because, why would they donate to you for illustrations if you are going to share them on social media for free? Also, make exclusive rewards for each tier, for example: 50$ =&gt; exclusive pics, commissions etc.

That is actually a good idea, I've never thought about stickers. I will definitely consider that now! I think I can do the tutorial as well but I will need to make a list first on which topic to touch and decide on which tier shall I add them into or maybe to make a new one. Yeah, I totally agree with you. Just like Ingo said too, it's a double-edged sword lol. NSFW seems like the easiest way to reach for the boost but Im not sure if I want to go with that route as it would also mean to lose half of what I already have right now which is pretty much family friendly content (most of it XD) and that's what most of my supporters are comfortable with. I hope to attract more ppl with the style I currently have without having to resort to NSFW path T_T

I believe a great way to reach more people is with a physical reward with either postcards and/or stickers. A tutorial every here and then would also be a great addition, and it doesn't necessarily have to revolve around drawing a specific thing. It could also include subjects like the tools and techniques that you use in Photoshop or other programs to enhance your drawings. Some ideas for you, hoped it helped.

Same. NSFW content is nice and a big plus money wise but if you look at certain artists they loose focus, have decreasing attention to detail, anatomy or too similar body shapes due to the time pressure. I signed up for a few in the past but actually now dropped my support. Voting is surely a nice addition but I think it should be limitted to once a month or something.

That sounds great if its not too much work for you! I have a pretty nifty addition! With the postcards you already have the address of each patreon signed up for the tier. What if you randomly select one patreon each month which gets the original? Barely more work for you and defitnely a nice addition. Imagine the smile on somones face if he has actual original in his mailbox :D. I'm defintely interested in some of your traditional quickies, so getting my hands on one either way would be awesome!

As previously mentioned, NSFW content is what gets the masses paying attention. That, and drawing the characters that are trending at the time. NSFW art of the characters trending at the time is how many -if not most- artists on Patreon seem to make a living. Not really that into it myself, but that's what I see anyway.

Hey Ingo! Awesome! I will definitely consider doing a poll for Patrons to decide what I will be drawing next. A Special tier for traditional quickies sounds interesting. What do you think if I create a "Postcard" tier? Where patrons will receive a monthly physical postcard from one of the quickie designs. I'm not sure how much workload that's going to be but I think it's manageable haha. Maybe the Patrons for the tier get to vote on which design they get each month as postcard. Thoughts?

I first stumbled over you on instgram with your traditional quickies, I think those still make you stand out beside your own drawing style. I always felt like tutorials in any medium are a great addition for patreons. As are special slots for limitted artwork. Maybe use the traditional quickies for that? I I defintely would be interested in either tutorials or a few tradional art pieces! Other options would be slightly more naughty stuff but only available on Patreon or polls on what to draw next? This could be a double edged sword though. I would probably keep the voting limiteed for the people haing a traditional quicky slot if you decide on doing those. Just a few ideas ;)
