9/22 Weekly Roundup Post

Hi all,

I've been sending out push notifications each time a chapter is published, but I found out that chapter's that I'm "unlocking" that were already considered "published" keep their old publication date on the Patreon Feed, so for some subscribers they're getting buried in a place no one would think to check. I could change the publication date of the chapters as they graduate from one tier to another, but that would lead to a weirdly ordered feed where chapters jump around. I could republish the chapters in new posts, but then there'd be twice as many posts scattered about, I'd need to start a second collection to order them, and I'd have twice as many things to edit when I do an editing pass on chapters.

So, the solution I'm going with for now--and please let me know if you have other ideas or like one of the ideas above better--is taken from what another Patreon someone told me about is doing: weekly roundup posts that go in the main feed that link this week's chapters by tier. I can also put any announcements or polls in these posts.

Also, if you're going on a binge, you can always click the "Years of Apocalypse Collection" that should have every chapter in order.

Thanks, that should be fixed now. And thank you!

As with other commenters, I rely on push/email notifications for new chapters which seemed to work fine when I was on the lower tier. The roundup post seems useful otherwise. Catching up through the collection after coming here from RR worked well enough (I’ve seen other Patreons include a link to the next/prev chapters at the top/bottom of posts, not sure if it’s worth the effort). Noticed a couple of chapters missing from the collection, not sure if anyone’s reading that far back here on Patreon but maybe it’ll help: https://www.patreon.com/posts/chapter-96-gate-108979140 Chapter 88 and 89 order swapped https://www.patreon.com/posts/chapter-26-98564205 Thanks again for writing, always a highlight of my day to see the new post notification!

This seems like a reasonable solution. Thanks.
