[Weekly Development Update #53]

So here we have both Marnie's side by side. On the right we have the Good Marnie (OG Marnie), and we have the Succubus [Evil] Marnie (Our Current Marnie).

Two Versions of Marnie

Remember when I was saying months ago that I didn't feel like Marnie was THICC enough? Now you can see what I meant. On the left, we have CRAZY THICC, and on the right we have eh.....decently thicc, not too much.

It's crazy to visually see the changes that were made to Marnie since we started the remake, but it helped set up our current plot perfectly. Which one you guys choosing? Crazy Thicc Evil Marnie or Moderately Thicc/Slim Good Marnie?

The MC

So over time, I've gotten some comments about how some of the dialogue options, particularly with pursuing the more crazy sexual ones, are kind of wacky and out-of-the-box. This was intentional. "Fucked up in the head" kind of dialogue is exactly what I'm going for when it comes to the Crazy Sex Addict Route. Things you wouldn't normally say in real life, amplified.

At the end of v0.2, you can convince Marnie to wear her collar more often, and you have a few dialogue choices to do or not that. You can give a logical reason to wear it, you can tell her NOT to wear it of course, or you can just be completely outta pocket and say something like, you just want a big thicc bitch to fuck (for example, not actual).

Choosing the last one will give a different response from Marnie, recognizing that you're insane and she starts to regret ever letting you into her life. Later in the game as we go along, you'll have a chance to go with Marnie to the tattoo parlor and get Milk Cow tattooed on her (so it's permanent).

Both versions of Marnie have low intelligence, however, Succubus Marnie is just ever so slightly smarter than the other. Here are the major differences:

Good Marnie's Personality

Good Marnie's Personality is a stark difference from her Succubus form.

• She is not a fan of technology and prefers to stay off social media of any kind.

• Often dresses much more modestly, more than her other self at least.

• Loves to watch movies.

• Prefers to be a stay-at-home mom rather than work, which has led to financial problems.

• A closet exhibitionist, as she prefers to practice it indoors and by herself.

• No pubic hair.

Succubus Marnie's Personality & Beliefs

Succubus Marnie's personality is very different.

• She swears a lot.

• She has no problem talking dirty, in any situation.

• Wears slutter clothes.

• Loves to fuck, and talk about fucking.

• Has a strange passion for reading.

• Loves anime, video games, and is a fan of technology in general.

• Loves to eat, a lot.

• Loves to be touched.

• An extreme exhibitionist.

• Pubic hair.

  So it's all about picking your preference. You get two starkly different personalities.

How The 1st Night Will Work Now

Everything at the beginning of the game is going to remain the same, since we are using OG Marnie. So when you knock on the front door, it'll still be the same scene with the OG Marnie, however:

• When you see Jennifer, she will be in her newer look.

• You can be even more of a complete sex maniac in dialogue, which will then force Marnie to wear her collar as she starts to recognize that there's something wrong with you, but she needs you so she figures her Succubus self can handle the situation better.

• Martha will come to your room first, before you lay down and text Marnie.

• Marnie's Ex-Husband is there on the first night.

Pale Skin Concerns

OG Skin for our current Marnie won the vote, however, a good chunk of people still preferred the Pale Skin. I can say this, don't worry. I will use that skin in the future, just not for Marnie, so it's not gone forever!

Conclusion

In conclusion, we're almost 50% of the way done. I finished up the scenes I needed, so I'm waiting on a lot of animations to be done at this point. I'm going to be doing a lot of rendering so I'll be showing off previews for the next few dev updates.
