I've added captions to the sketches this time, I didn't notice it was an option before!
I haven't included a couple of cliff + eugene pics I drew yesterday, since I want to draw a few more and post them on patreon together, but here they are if you missed them on social media.

So right after my last sketchbook update it snowed quite a bit! I fucking LOVE snow so I was very excited and spent soo long walking each day. I did a couple of paintings of the snow that I didn't get location photos of, but I did get little videos- here. I've been trying to use instagram more lately, so there's a few process videos on there of the art in this update!
My paint actually froze on the paper, and on the palette! I held a handwarmer under it, and it all blurred together when it melted. A temporary work of art!

It had thawed in our village after a couple of days, BUT I could still see it in the distance, so I walked about 5 miles to find and enjoy it for as long as possible... snowchasing? I'm broken hearted the snow is now melted, but maybe we'll get more soon.
This one was for the landowner, who doesn't mind me stomping around everywhere ;P. There's a tiny process for these here.

A couple more painting locations!

Befriending the local wildlife, mostly they just want food, but one or two appreciate scratches.
I did not expect this haha.

I wonder if herdwick sheep are universally grumpy, these ones stomp their feet at me when I pass too close ;P.
It's getting frosty again, and I've been thriving haha. I love how the world looks when the sun is so low and everything is frosted over. Praying for snow again!
Thank you for reading my silly love letter to snow and countryside, I hope you all have a great month <3
