This can be read as something of relief/belonging to someone so dearly that the mask goes away. OR as a change in the relationship that brings more ties than they expect. Geralt giving in to the love with Jaskier unsure what he's thinking/where they stand. Ahhhhh I'm on an angst train tonight and its only getting worse š love this tho! Love the intimacy and then the š just front and center
