i like how he's grabbing the hem, too. like that's a vulnerable place to grab, in a way? he's probably avoiding injuries but still does extra sads to my heart

Yeah he's probably not sure where this is going from the start. He's been so gaslit that he's sure he's about to be given his marching orders. And THEN cor starts growling by its not wine at prompto at all. Actually, one of the things that had been in my head when i was drawing this was the resentment from the other recruits because prom has this infamy because of his friendship but i imagine Cor like making remarks to the other recruits like showing he knew them all by name and they're like...a little ashamed. A tiny bit...

Like, he's not sure what will come of this confrontation but it won't be good for him. Especially if other recruits are there as well. He's already singled out enough, now he 'can't take a little rough discipline?' 🥺 Of course, that's putting it lightly and Cor would /never/ but orders are orders, right? 💔
