Featuring Billie & Bertha again (both she/her) set in the 50's. I read Boots of Leather, Slippers of Gold and it totally inspired their dynamic- "Two butches could be friends, but never lovers."
They had a fling in the past, before Billie went butch, and now things are ~messy~
Billie was from out of town, so Bertie had to move on when she went back home. Now that she's back, Bertie is finding it harder to hide her feelings, and Billie isn't making it easy...
(Peggy's kinda new, she's not Bertie's long term partner or anything, if anyone's torn up about the ending. Bertha dates lots of girls to keep up appearances but never really connects with anyone.)
