Sleep Protection Bag - Recipe

Good afternoon moon babes!

How have y'all been? It's been so hectic over here as I prep for the Moonlight and Sage retail store opening (I announced the date on TikTok!!). It's going to be a grand opening and my birthday bash rolled into one. There are going to be gift bags, meet and greet, DIY botanical bouquets, and so much more.  I'm so excited to see y'all and celebrate with you!

Anyway, today I wanted to share a sleep protection sachet that I like making for friends and others when they need some added aid. One of my best friends is reallyyy good at astral projection but isn’t quite sure how to control it and that leads to a fear of sleeping. This bag has that in mind as this recipe came from making her bag this week.

Outside of crafting this bag and having it under your pillow / on your nightstand, if you are experiencing nightmares or insomnia always make sure your, room, bed, and sheets are cleansed and cleared before you go to bed. I like quickly doing this and implementing it into my daily craft by making sure to smoke cleanse and ring bells in the morning after I have gotten up. Then before bed, I will cleanse my home entirely, spray Florida water/clearing spray around my room and on my sheets and pillows. Place a hag stone under your bed where you sleep if you have one as well to ward off nightmares.

Things You'll Need

- A blue or white organza bag

- Rosemary

- Star anise 3 full stars

- Dill Weed

- Black Pepper

- Bayleaf

- Plantain

- Calendula 

- Mullein

For this, I think it is really important to create a sigil for your specific ailment or issue that’s negatively impacting your sleep, craft and activate that sigil and include it into your sachet. Cleanse, clear, and protect yourself and your space if you feel necessary, activate each herb before you place them into the sachet.
