They may have won the fight but Prom did something stupid or didn't listen to a shout that has the other two scolding him. And he's finally able to slink away into the shower when Noct comes in. Seeing the state Prom is in explains why he missed a shot or didn't get somewhere fast enough... Blaming himself for getting hurt.
