We've written a few situations like this, but they are all situations very specific to Zack and Reno (like the angst of going almost five years without knowing where Zack is (which would be really hard for someone like Reno, who fights a lot not to get attached, but when he does get attached, he gets really attached) while being sure Tseng is hiding things (as Tseng and Vled are the only Turks who know what actually happened at the time before Zack makes his escape), going through Zack's slow recovery while keeping him hidden from the company (in an AU where they actually got to Zack on time to save him after Cloud leaves and Rude is an amazing bro who doesn't rat them out) or turning the tables and making it so Zack (who survived) gets to watch live on TV how Cloud fights (and hurts) Reno on the Sector 7 tower with *his* Buster Sword or how Reno gets Geostigma and Zack (who is immune) gets to panic a bit with that), so I'm not sure they would work on a wheel like this for other ships. But I suppose maybe just words could work? Like: 1. Loss 2. Sword wound 3. Hidden disease I'd suggest pairings but then I'd just be repeating myself xDDD
