While I loved the bold inked linework and solid colors of before, this just feels more /you/ and one of my favorite things about reading comics is seeing how the artist adapts, finds, and changes their style as it progresses. I always love comparing the art from the early issues to the last ones and seeing the change. But to the content itself - just wow! It’s such a jarring effect from the Ignis interlude to this. Like seeing everyone (but Noct) reassure Ignis that it’s for the best and now seeing Prompto starving and laid bare before us. And my heart sunk when I saw that phone vibrating with the motion lines. And its only Week 1 - oh god. Just what another lovely page

Prom is positively starving, and his mom calling... those lines next to the phone tells me she is shouting at him. I hope someone realizes this poor boy hasn't eaten in over a week and gives him a good meal. Poor Prompto needs it.
