Multiple ties for multiple shoots were done to create the shots that have been layered with flowers by the artist to create this work.
I grappled with weather to share this work as the artist has since come under scrutiny many years after I did these shoots.
It is hard to speak out. I respect any woman who does so. I not undermining anyone’s lived experience.
What I can say is that my experience was positive with this artist, and my boundaries were respected.
The work itself, I think is very beautiful.
For me, these shoots helped me feel a sense of reclaiming my body.
Having said that… I have less than no interest in being tied now, so I am glad I experienced it in such an immersive way when I had the inclination.
