Weekly Update 32

Not a lot else to say, really... drawing is going well... Kinda, feels weird to be proud of what I'm doing. It's not perfect, it's not even really great, but the quality of my art has come very far, even in the past couple of months. Mistakes I've made in how I construct expressions and poses are a lot clearer to me now, and a lot harder to repeat by accident, and I think Riley is helping me to understand and unlock the secrets of why a character looks cute sometimes and creepy or wrong other times.
Trying to pay more attention to how I draw hands, lately. Typically I've done them in kind of a cartoony, bubbly way, which allows for a lot of flexibility in my hand poses, but I'm kind of drawing them now the way I've always drawn them for decades, which isn't too great. Started to make my characters gesture more with their hands, or do more with their hands while they are talking so I can get some good hand practice in.
Well, I guess I had a lot else to say after all. :P
