The designs on the columns look almost Arabic, but the plinth of the column is heavier, almost Egyptian in it's square shape. A curious mixture of civilizations, to say the least and it creates an world a fantasy. Add the glass tulip candle holders and it becomes more curious still! Ha ha ha.. a totally useless comment I am sure, but then, I am capricious.
