Added 2025-08-21 02:18:59 +0000 UTCI get home after a long ass work day to record content for you guys and my pc I use for recording won’t turn on. It’s on a surge protector but there was a lightning storm while I wasn’t home and even with the surge protector it seems it was damaged. I pray to go I don’t have to replace everything and it’s just like the power supply or motherboard. That being said, there won’t be any reactions till probably Sunday till I can figure something out.

2025-08-21 16:28:21 +0000 UTCOh no! That sucks!! I'm so sorry that happened to you! I had something similar happen once and I reached out to the power company and homeowners/renters insurance. I don't remember which ended up paying out, but I was able to get some coverage for my damaged computer. It's worth looking into.
