GIF or not

Damn, I wanted to make a GIF animation of my work Step by step, so as not to upload several pictures, but just you could watch 1 GIF, but any program I found greatly degrades the quality of the picture...
It doesn't look very cool to me, what do you say? Is it better to lay out just the whole sequence of screenshots or make low-quality GIFs?
