Starting a New Life in Tokyo by Inheriting a Shopping Street [59]
Added 2025-09-05 12:01:12 +0000 UTCChiba Shuuichi glanced at Ogawa Sayuki, the corner of his mouth curling into a faint, unreadable smile. “Well, nothing to be done then. Sayuki-neesan doesn’t mind, right?”
Sayuki’s peach-blossom eyes slid toward him in a languid sidelong glance, reading every inch of the little man’s bad intentions. “This is your date with sis. I’m just the extra—what could I possibly have to mind?”
Ogawa Fumika hesitated, words catching in her throat. Even if she was slow, she could sense some of her younger sister’s feelings now. As she and Chiba-kun grew closer, wouldn’t her sister feel… left out?
“How could you be extra?” Shuuichi smiled. “If, because of me, you and Fumika-neesan became even the slightest bit distant, that would be a terrible crime, wouldn’t it? And if it put Fumika-neesan in a position where she had to choose between us—that would be an even graver sin. "
"So Sayuki-neesan mustn’t think that way. There’s no such thing as ‘extra’ or ‘in the way.’ Just be at ease, like always.”
Beside him, Fumika nodded again and again, her expression full of agreement, thinking to herself how thoughtful Chiba-kun was. She’d been fretting over how to comfort her sister—now he’d done it for her.
Sayuki shot her sister a speechless look. This lusty little brat was speaking in layers—how could you not hear it? Love-addled brains are hopeless!
Still, his words did hit home.
Watching her sister spend every day with that little man across the street—thinking of him, talking about him—their own sisterly time had indeed been cut down. Sayuki would be lying if she said she didn’t feel a twinge of loss.
The three sat down. When the film started, there were still only the three of them in the whole row—and even the rows in front and behind. The few other moviegoers had all deliberately scattered themselves apart.
“Chiba-kun likes romance movies too?” In the dark, Fumika’s face carried a faint blush and a smile she couldn’t quite hide.
Her hand was clasped in his, being kneaded and played with, the back of it occasionally brushed with a kiss. Such affectionate gestures from the boy filled her with joy.
If she ignored Sayuki sitting on the other side, this was already the perfect date scene.
A dream from her girlhood—late in coming, but here at last.
“What you watch doesn’t matter. What matters is who you watch it with.” Shuuichi hadn’t even remembered the title—just saw the sparse audience and figured it was probably garbage anyway.
Who actually comes to a theater for the movie?
While squeezing the boneless softness of Fumika’s hand, feeling the silky smoothness of her skin, his other hand slid toward Sayuki on his left.
During their “massage” session before, he hadn’t dared to stray far—just hovering near the knee. At dinner, he’d only been able to reach her calf.
Finally, a chance to touch her thigh…
But the moment his hand found Sayuki’s leg, marveling at its firm elasticity, he suddenly felt a hand on his thigh.
He froze, sneaking a glance left. By the faint light from the screen, he could just make out the teasing curve of Sayuki’s lips.
Then—her fingers squeezed hard.
“Hss…” Shuuichi sucked in a sharp breath, then retaliated in kind, giving her thigh a firm squeeze back.
And immediately regretted it.
He’d forgotten—Sayuki ran a gym. The first time he met her, her bare, toned abs had nearly blinded him.
Withdrawing his restless hand, he turned to Fumika. “A little thirsty.”
“Oh, the cola’s here…” She quickly passed him the cup she’d bought.
“I want Fumika-neesan to feed me,” Shuuichi said, his tone loaded.
Fumika didn’t catch it. She just laughed softly and held the straw to his lips. “Chiba-kun really knows how to act spoiled…”
“No, not like that.” He didn’t drink—just tapped her lips lightly with his finger.
The faint touch made her jolt like she’d been shocked. Then she understood what he meant, and heat rushed to her cheeks.
She bit her lip, glanced once toward her sister, and…
“I… I understand…”
Sayuki, hearing only a rustle of movement, saw her sister being pulled into his arms. She quickly withdrew her right hand, lest her sister notice.
Next came the wet sounds of lips meeting—those two, kissing right beside her.
“…”
Sayuki folded her arms, eyes on the screen, trying to ignore the strange noises in her ear.
But the occasional moan or muffled hum, the sudden low gasp—made it impossible to focus.
The two kept shifting, brushing against her shoulder now and then.
Sayuki took a deep breath and glanced around the theater. Even in the dim light, she could make out other couples embracing and kissing.
The whole theater was paired off—she was the only extra!
Irritation rose. She pinched Shuuichi’s waist and hissed, “Enough already.”
He winced and looked up. Fumika’s eyes were unfocused, her breath coming in little pants.
Still dazed, she didn’t seem to realize anything—only ducked her head and continued.
Mouth blocked, Shuuichi spread his hands at Sayuki, the look on his face clearly saying, You can’t blame me for this, right?
Sayuki’s mouth twitched. She rolled her eyes.
But he didn’t just leave her be. Somehow finding the time, he slipped a hand onto her stocking-clad thigh.
Sayuki, still annoyed, slapped it away—only for it to creep back almost immediately. After a few rounds, she gave up resisting.
With the whispers and moans in her ear, couples making out in every direction, and that little man’s wandering hand, Sayuki gradually began to feel it too.
Her lips pressed tight to hold back any sound, her peach-blossom eyes slowly growing hazy—more and more like her sister’s.
About a third of the way into the film, Fumika, flustered, slipped off to the bathroom—leaving Shuuichi and Sayuki alone.
“Sorry for neglecting you just now, Sayuki-neesan.”
Wiping his mouth with his sleeve, he looked at the face identical to Fumika’s—now showing the same faint heat—and felt his heart stir.
“That’s a strange thing to say.” Sayuki spoke as if she hadn’t noticed his hand’s mischief at all.
“You seemed to enjoy bullying me at dinner. Now’s a perfect chance—don’t you want to tease me again, to help your sister get revenge?” Shuuichi asked with a grin.
“Dimly lit theater, voluptuous madame, delicate shounen…”
Sayuki narrowed her eyes at him for a long moment—then suddenly pushed him back into his seat, one hand gripping his jaw as she kissed him hard…
